We are trying to assess how much interest there is in having a Summer
league. It would help if every team gave us a response - so please let Terry
know.

We know have a break until January 7th - but there are the competitions to
be played, by the end of January. Please let Terry know the results when the
matches are played.

We've had a few matches postponed recently. To ensure a postponement you
must give at least 24 hours notice. A postponement with less than 24 hours
notice is subject to your opponents agreement. In the event of a
postponement the team postponing must re-arrange the match and it must be
played within a month of the original date. Postponements are covered by
rules 2.9 to 2.12.


Next Meeting

Sunday 30^th January at Caister Kings Arms at 8.00 p.m. Please bring your league results forms to this meeting so that the player averages can be updated.





Disputes will be settled by the rules. On the night an attempt to settle disputes to be made by the captains and players and referee involved in the actual game. If unable to agree resolution then refer dispute to committee in writing. (As League Rule 5)



New players may be signed on the night of a match but must be signed on before 8.00 p.m. in order to play that night. (This is as stated on the Team Registration Form and as advised at the outset of the League).



NOTE: Some teams have been awarding a foul against players who place the cue chalk on the table. This is NOT a foul. The referee may ask the player to remove the chalk from the table (for example if he believes it is being used as a marker) but not award 2 shots. The player needs to comply with the referee’s instruction.
